BIOSKETCH
Dr. Keshena Naidoo is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Family Medicine. She graduated with a MBChB degree through the University of Natal, thereafter specialising as a Family Physician. She completed a PhD in Health Professions Education in 2020. Dr. Naidoo is involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, and supervises masters and doctoral students across several disciplines. Her research interests are health systems strengthening, chronic non-communicable diseases and health professions education. Dr. Naidoo is on the editorial board of the South African Family Practice journal and BMC Primary Care, and is a reviewer for several journals. Dr. Naidoo also has an interest in research ethics and serves on the Biomedical Research Ethics Committee of the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
